Stress physiology and biodiversity in plants and microorganisms. Department of Biology, Faculty of Sciences. Bogotá.

The lines of research revolve under the main thematic axis of biodiversity, according to this and taking into account aspects related to the convention on biological diversity (know, conserve and use). Studies in plant physiology (plant ecophysiology, stress physiology, post-harvest physiology), plant-microorganism relationship (microbiology, phytopathology), microbial ecology-extremophiles-astrobiology. It is proposed to carry out interdisciplinary studies in order to know mainly crop species, as well as promising species of plants and microorganisms of potential use in the bioprospecting industry such as crop protection, biotechnology and bioprocesses, food. Likewise, human resource training at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels is also encouraged.
