This working group, whose objective is training and research in different areas of Geophysics, has been ranked by COLCIENCIAS as a Category A research group due to its excellent scientific productivity. By promoting the approchement and interrelation of researchers, consultants, students and trainers who develop activities related to Geophysics; and by supporting the development of studies in the fields of Prospecting and Seismotectonics; the group's mission is: To guide and promote the development of research, transfer and application of technologies in the field of Applied Geophysics.
