Board

The function of the board will be to determine the specific and strategic objectives that each committee must follow. Design conflict resolution strategies. Have a balanced composition of all committee members. Prioritize the work of the committees, that is, facilitate the alignment of the committees' plans that include the scanning of strategic opportunities and alliances with the public and private sectors. Evaluate risks, and propose a general plan for the operation of the Center for Scientific Computing. Establish policies and periodically recommend changes to policies upon review and adjustment. Define responsibilities and review compliance with these within the Regulations of the National University of Colombia that include the legal aspects of contracting processes, signing of agreements, ethics and intellectual property. The technical director will be appointed by a vote of the members of the Center. The executive can be selected by internal call to the Faculties of Economics and Administration or Engineering or, failing that, by the Faculties of the University Headquarters. This board can use the modality of video call or face-to-face system to meet and determines the frequency of sessions of the different committees.

Executive Director
Organizes the short, medium and long-term objectives of the Center of Excellence prioritizing to assess which are more feasible. Defines the center's semi-annual action plan. He leads and supports the members of the center with optimism. Together with the board, reviews project execution reports. Represents the Center in events that facilitate building strategic alliances. Advises the committees and reviews the operating structure of the Center's structure system. It also reviews the financial risk.

Technical Director

Define the technological strategy. Evaluates the technical risks of project execution supported by the concepts of the infrastructure committee. Look for new opportunities for the technological development of the center. Proposes new projects to improve the infrastructure network.
