Currently the group participates in research projects for the production of biofuels, bioleaching processes, use of biosolids and by-products obtained in the generation of biofuels, production of protein hydrolysates, characterization of biofuels and use of laser tools in the optimization of chemical processes. It provides consultancy in the field of water treatment, physicochemical and biological analysis of water, simulation of chemical processes, among others. He participates in the application of bioprocesses in industry, particularly in the development of biofuels and high value-added metabolites. He also participates in process modeling projects involving water resources at physicochemical and biological levels. He participates in the fields of energetic and exergetic analysis and in the simulation of reactive flows through the use of specialized computational tools. He is also involved in the development and application of new and more sophisticated computational tools.
