It is an interdisciplinary group whose aim is to study RNAs from the genomic and post-genomic point of view. The activities of the group are developed thanks to the integration of concepts from biological sciences, chemistry, mathematics and computer sciences. As a short and medium term goal, it aims to create computational tools, build models to solve basic questions of biology and evolution of RNAs and to apply them in different areas such as medicine and related sectors.
