The Bioinformatics and Computational Systems Biology Research Group (GIBBS) focuses on the development and application of computational models for the understanding of the molecular mechanisms behind disease and health processes in humans and animals, as well as the integration of these models with information from high-throughput sequencing technologies in order to develop more and better methods and tools useful in health.
