The Laboratory seeks to promote and develop research activities in Intelligent Computing Systems and their application to problem solving, focusing on areas such as: Bio-inspired Computing, Complex Systems, Symbolic Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Fuzzy Logic, Data Mining, Autonomous Agent Systems, Mathematical and Probabilistic Models, Parallel and Distributed Processing, Bioinformatics, among others. The trajectory of the members of the group includes numerous international publications in recognized events and journals in the area.
