GAUNAL, Automation Group of the National University, Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering, Bogotá , School of Engineering and Department of Electrical Energy and Automatics, School of Mines, Medellin

The Automatics Group of the Universidad Nacional (GAUNAL) was born as an agglutinator of the existing work in the area of Automatics at the Bogota, Manizales and Medellin sites. In this sense, while respecting the strengths of the Groups of the Headquarters, they work together in research and industrial extension projects, both local and national. Several developments and joint production highlight such interaction, manifested not only through shared and itinerant courses, but also through the co-direction of thesis students and the participation of professors from several sites in GAUNAL's research.
